Did you know? Research suggests that as people become wealthier, their everyday behavior and social awareness can actually change. Studies in behavioral psychology and sociology have found that individuals with higher levels of wealth are more likely to prioritize independence and personal goals over group-oriented decision making. In several experiments, wealthier participants were also more likely to bend minor rules—like cutting in line or ignoring traffic etiquette—because greater financial security can reduce the feeling of social risk. Interestingly, psychologists say this doesn’t necessarily mean wealthy people are worse individuals. Instead, money can change the environment around someone—giving them more control, fewer consequences, and less dependence on others. Over time, that shift can subtly influence personality traits like empathy, patience, and risk-taking. I abandoned my son by leaving him with my mom when he was 10 months old after his dad died, because I couldn’t even take care of myself during addiction I had started again. 🥺 I didn’t have custody of him for 3 years. 👉 His behavioral problems have always been horrible and I knew why he hated me on a subconscious level. Even though he didn’t remember. ❤️‍🩹 Our relationship is getting better the more I take accountability for my own healing. ⚠️ if your child has mental health issues PLEASE look at your own mental health and things you’ve suppressed before just trying to treat them. My son was diagnosed with adhd & autism and I’ll be hard pressed to think his symptoms weren’t trauma induced. #bpd #generationaltrauma #narcissisticparent #childhoodtrauma #cptsd

Mental strength is not about ignoring emotions, it is about regulating them. Research in neuroscience and behavioral psychology shows that emotional discipline, cognitive reframing, and self-trust strengthen neural pathways linked to resilience and stress tolerance. Chronic stress elevates cortisol, disrupts gut health, increases inflammation, and impairs immune function. Developing calm responses, setting boundaries, and focusing on solutions instead of problems supports the gut-brain axis, hormonal balance, and long-term mental wellness. Mental and physical health are deeply interconnected. Stable blood sugar, adequate magnesium and B vitamins, restorative sleep, breathwork, and consistent movement all improve emotional regulation and cognitive clarity. 👉🏼 If you want to be mentally strong, follow this page and follow @naturalhealinglab for daily education on natural healing, gut health, anti-inflammatory nutrition, stress management, and sustainable wellness practices grounded in science. Dogs produce humor responses in human observers with a consistency and reliability that no other animal matches, and this isn't coincidental—it reflects a unique intersection of high behavioral expressiveness, genuine emotional transparency, and the comedy that naturally emerges when a predator nervous system operates inside domestic suburban reality with complete commitment and zero self-awareness. Human laughter at dogs specifically activates at the collision between competence and incompetence. Dogs are genuinely capable, athletically impressive animals whose ancestors hunted large prey across demanding terrain, making their spectacular failures at simple tasks—sliding across floors, misjudging distances, losing battles against inanimate objects—funnier than equivalent failures in animals we don't associate with physical capability. The gap between what dogs theoretically are and what they are currently doing represents the structural foundation of most dog humor. Their complete absence of self-consciousness amplifies every comedic moment exponentially. Humans modify behavior when observed, creating performance awareness that softens genuine reactions. Dogs possess no neurological capacity for embarrassment or audience awareness, meaning whatever they are experiencing internally expresses externally without filtration, editing, or social calculation. A dog that has just run into a glass door will immediately attempt the same door again with identical confidence—not because they lack memory but because shame-based behavioral modification simply isn't available to them as a cognitive tool. Dogs also commit entirely to whatever they are currently doing with an intensity disproportionate to the activity's actual significance. The same neurological focus that made their ancestors effective hunters gets applied with equal seriousness to attacking a paper bag, barking at their own reflection, or carrying an enormous stick through a narrow doorway without adjusting their approach despite repeated failures. This total commitment combined with total unselfconsciousness produces comedy that feels generous rather than mean, because the dog is never the victim...

📅 In 2005, something unusual caught the attention of a behavioral immunologist: The people who didn’t constantly catch colds, didn’t burn out, and had little inflammation — all did the same thing: They talked out loud to themselves. 🔹 In the supermarket. 🔹 While driving. 🔹 While walking. Not because they were unstable — but because it calmed their nervous system without them even realizing it. 🧪 The researcher wired up volunteers and measured cortisol and immune markers in real time. The result: As soon as people spoke their inner stress out loud, their stress hormone dropped by about 33%. Those who swallowed everything and kept it inside had elevated cortisol levels for hours. One researcher put it clearly: “Suppressed emotions act like a toxin your body cannot break down.” ☠️ 👔 A manager from the study shared: “I always thought I was strong because I never talked about stress out loud. Then I saw my blood results — they looked like someone with chronic inflammation. When I started speaking my stress out loud in an empty room, my values changed within a week.” 🧠 The mechanism behind it is simple: When you speak, you activate the vagus nerve. Your pulse drops, your immune system relaxes, and it stops treating your body like an enemy. 🔊 The researcher called it “audible digestion.” Emotions need to be processed — just like food. ⚠️ The darkest finding was this: People who had learned to “just function” and swallow everything had the strongest immune suppression. Many chronic illnesses begin with emotions that remain unfelt and stuck in the nervous system. 👀 And look at this: The healthiest people aren’t the ones who never experience stress — but the ones who express it. Especially when no one is listening. Because we’re not just talking about crooked teeth. We’re talking about: • Narrow palates that affect how your child breathes • Mouth breathing that leads to poor sleep and fatigue • Low tongue posture that alters facial growth • Behavioral challenges that stem from a tired, under-oxygenated brain Waiting until age 12 means ignoring the years when growth is at its peak—and when early intervention can make the biggest difference. Modern moms are waking up to the signs. They’re not settling for “watch and wait.” They’re learning how the tongue, jaw, airway, and sleep all work together—and they’re taking action early. Because straight teeth are great—but a thriving, well-rested child is the real win. 👇 Comment TONGUE and I’ll send you my free training on how early action can help prevent future orthodontic costs and support better health from the inside out. — #myofunctionaltherapy #mouthbreathing #airwayhealth #earlyintervention #tonguetie #crookedteeth #bracesforkids #nasalbreathing #kidshealth #holisticmama #preventativecare #thrivingkids #breathetothrive #sleepstruggles #functionalbreathing #rootcauseparenting

This video captures a common behavioral shift in children where intense excitement overrides a previous painful experience. The Subject: A young boy experiences a minor fall while descending stairs, leading to a brief period of distress. However, upon discovering a new toy in the basement, his emotional state shifts instantly from pain to exhilaration. The Mechanism: This reaction is driven by the brain’s reward system. High-arousal stimuli, such as a surprise gift, trigger a massive release of dopamine. This neurotransmitter effectively suppresses the perception of physical discomfort by prioritizing the positive environmental stimulus. The Purpose: The clip demonstrates the “novelty effect,” where a significant new event redirects a child’s limited attentional resources, allowing them to bypass negative emotions in favor of play and exploration. That sudden hands-on-hips stance or the dramatic “I can do it myself!” is more than just a behavioral glitch; it’s a high-speed Identity System Update. In developmental psychology, this is known as Individuation. Around age two and again in the lead-up to adolescence, a child’s brain undergoes a massive surge in Autonomy Seeking, where they test the boundaries of their own influence on the world. From a neurological perspective, “attitude” is often a sign of Cognitive Overload. When a child feels a lack of control over their environment—like being told to put on shoes when they want to play—the Amygdala (the brain’s emotional center) can trigger a “mini-rebellion.” They aren’t trying to be “difficult”; they are practicing Executive Function by prioritizing their own goals over yours. It’s a messy, loud, and often hilarious “beta test” for future leadership and decision-making skills. Physiologically, these moments of sass are a record of Emotional Differentiation. By pushing back, a child is learning where you end and they begin. While it might be testing your patience today, that same “attitude” is the biological foundation for their future Internal Locus of Control. They aren’t just “talking back”—they are building the neural pathways required to stand their ground in a complex world! Follow @insightdorm for more daily insights!

This CCTV video captures a common but often overlooked modern safety and behavioral risk inside elevators. The individual is standing alone, focused on a mobile phone, which reflects how smartphones frequently distract people in confined public spaces. Elevators are enclosed systems with moving mechanical components, limited ventilation, and strict weight and balance limits, making situational awareness important even during short rides. Studies on human behavior show that distraction reduces reaction time, meaning a person may not notice sudden stops, door malfunctions, or balance shifts quickly enough. Elevator safety guidelines recommend standing still, facing forward, keeping devices secured, and being alert to floor changes to prevent slips or falls. The presence of CCTV highlights its role in monitoring passenger safety, investigating incidents, and ensuring accountability in shared buildings. Overall, this image is a reminder that while elevators feel routine and safe, attention and basic awareness are essential—because even everyday technology and spaces can become risky when human focus is diverted. #singapore Via @videolararsivii  Follow @factual.zone_
