How much difference does Pre-Workout actually make? A lot of pre-workouts have less than the effective dosages for many of their ingredients. So in that circumstance… Meh… Many pre-workouts include certain key ingredients: 🫡 Caffeine: Delays fatigue onset… 🫡 Beta-Alanine: Delays fatigue onset too… 🫡 Creatine: Improves muscular performance… 🫡 L-Citrulline: Coverted into L-Arginine to boost nitric oxide production, which improves blood flow. With 2 of those four ingredients, taking them once off is kind of pointless (Creatine and Beta-Alanine) as they work through saturation, so you need to take them every day for prolonged periods to actually get the true benefits. L-Citrulline is usually under dosed, and not highly researched in its effectiveness toward performance. Caffieine… Well yeah, quality. The point I’d make is this… Pre-Workout isn’t a game changer, but it might make you feel better or make a session more enjoyable through pump or stimulation. If that’s the case. Crack on! If not, just eat plenty of carbs, have a coffee and go train.
