I took my son on a mission to shop for Boys & Girls Clubs and watching him realize the joy of giving back was a core memory for both of us. These Clubs are launchpads for over 4 million kids, providing the mentors and safe spaces they need to reach their full potential.

TH#TBT ✨ Throwing back to my time earlier this summer with the phenomenal club kids at @bgcofbroward in south Florida.
These amazing young women lit me up as I joined my @dove family, the incredible @chichristine, and her stellar @bgca_clubs team for an afternoon dedicated to understanding the power of “appearance pressures” impacting their ever-developing self-esteem.

俾其他人知道想逃避 諗好多 焦慮等等係大家都有嘅🥲
我哋可能都成日覺得面對痛苦係要好嚴陣以待
一係迫自己麻木 一係鬧自己覺得唔應該咁弱
但係今日睇完展覽真係有鬆咗一口氣🤍
因為談論痛楚嘅本身已經代表住我哋唔再同佢對抗
而係學識同痛楚並存 喺傷痕上重新長出花朵🌷

關於計劃：
本展覽為賽馬會21世紀綜合青少年服務中心計劃（21C@JC）資助項目，由香港小童群益會賽馬會長亨青少年綜合服務中心主辦。計劃旨在以「青少年第一視角」分享成長中的壓力與掙扎，期望透過藝術實踐引起社會共鳴，鼓勵互相支持和表達情緒，並提升公眾對青年精神健康的關注。是次展覽由社工及藝術家導師聯同五位青年攜手策劃，呈現為期兩日的「痛學會（成長之痛）」階段性實驗成果。

As a mom of two autistic boys, I’ve learned that calm doesn’t always come easy, but it can be created.
That’s why we made what we call our “calm kit” for car rides. It’s our portable decompression zone with headphones for sound, sunglasses for light, fidgets for focus, and bubbles for a breather. You don’t need a lot of stuff or space to help your kids reset, you just need to be intentional.
I’ve teamed up with to create a board with more ways families can bring calm wherever they go. As leaders in youth development, Boys & Girls Clubs of America are partnering with Pinterest to support kids’ emotional well-being and help them build lifelong coping skills.
