Ways I’m biohacking with my kiddos: ✨ grounding - all the bare feet outside and when we go to the beach. I always encourage my kids to take their shoes off, as I know the physical and mental benefits (improved mood, circadian benefits, better sleep, healing, etc). ✨ sunshine - I TRY for some sunshine time each day. They’re locked up indoors at school (and the baby at home), so we get outside when we can. ✨ anti inflammatory foods - I feed them as healthy as possible. Yes, they have junk food from time to time, but I try to keep 90% healthy foods at home for them. I’ve noticed when I set out healthy snacks after school, they don’t reach for the other processed items. We can set the tone for what they eat. ✨toxin-free home - I’ve eliminated most of the toxins from our everyday products thanks to the wellness store (linked in bio) - no more endocrine disrupters in our home. ✨ I let them watch me biohack and join in on what they want. My little one loves hopping on the vibration plate or the rebounding trampoline. I challenge my teen to cold plunges. We go on walks. I allow them to fast/eat when they’re hungry (except baby). Kids tend to be more in tune with their bodies, and if you pay attention they always crave what they need. ✨spirituality. We go to church, they’re growing in their faith, we discuss alll the things and problem solve together - nothing is off limits. The more my kiddos open up to me, the more I can teach them about having a growth mindset and a Kingdom focus on life. 👊🏼 ✨limit screen time. This is just necessary in today’s age, but vital for circadian rhythm and healthy eyes too. Phones turn off at night and come back on during the day. We try to catch sunrises and sunsets as much as possible too. It’s so simple to start incorporating these things at an early age! It’s not all about the techie longevity devices, but about implementing healthy habits from a young age. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
