Also forms 2 NADH (electron carriers). ๐Ÿ‘‰ No oxygen needed; fast but low yield. 2. Link Reaction (mitochondria): Each pyruvate is converted into Acetyl-CoA, releasing COโ‚‚. Produces 2 NADH per glucose. ๐Ÿ‘‰ This step connects glycolysis to aerobic respiration. 3. Krebs Cycle / TCA Cycle (mitochondrial matrix): Acetyl-CoA is completely oxidized.
