SO๐๐ sorry, I have to make a joke of it.
Iโd actually like to start with saying we get SO many lovely comments. 90% of the comments are positive and beautiful but DAILY, we get comments about how the birds should be flying free and that weโre cruel.
In an ideal world no birds would be domesticated but they are and have been 500+ years. That is never going to change. Theyโre sold in pet shops with little to no guidance on their basic needs. Most go on to live in small cages and never get the opportunity to fly.
That style of bird keeping is popular still to this day. We have added birds to our aviary who have been unable to fly due to living in a cage their whole life and only being able to hop from perch to perch.
What shouldnโt be ignored is what we have provided and how amazing it is for the birds - they have loads of room to fly, bathe in flowing water and live amongst other birds and real plants and trees.
We provide them the very best diet which is seen in their condition.
I know weโll never make everyone happy so Iโll make myself laugh in the process ๐
