This has to be the laziest way I’ve ever made biryani! Here's the Recipe! Cook time: 30 min Serves: 6 Ingredients: 2 Chicken Breast 2 potatoes 2 tomatoes 1 TBS garlic/ginger paste 5 fresh chillies 3 cups basmati rice 1 packet biryani masala 1 tsp salt 1 tsp red chilli powder 1/2 tsp turmeric 1/2 cinnamon stick 4 green cardamoms 1 tbs butter 2tbs yoghurt 1/2 handful mint 1/2 handful coriander 1 cup fried onions for rice: 1 tbs whole spices 1 bay leaf Method: Wash and dice chicken breast and potatoes. Wash and soak rice. In a pan, add oil and fry crushed garlic/ginger/2 chillies - 2 mins - medium heat. Add in chopped tomatoes and fry until soft. Add in chicken, potatoes, yoghurt, biryani masala, spices and fresh herbs. Mix and fry - 15 mins. Boil rice along with pilao masala and bay leaf until rice is 75% cooked. Add fresh herbs and 3 chopped fresh chillies and fried onions on top of biryani masala. Drain rice. Add on top of masala. Pour over food colouring, biryani masala and butter. Chicken Biryani Ingredients: 1 cup Oil 1 large onion 700 gms Chicken(boneless or with bone) 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste 1 pack biryani Masala ( I use Shan bombay)) 1/2 tsp red chili powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 tbsp cumin powder 1 tbsp coriander powder 3 medium tomatoes sliced 3-5 green chilies 3 tbsp coriander 1 tbsp Lemon juice For Rice : 3 cups Basmati rice(washed & soaked in water for 20 min ) 1 tsp salt, 1 small cinnamon stick, 3-4 cloves. For Garnish: Coriander Yellow Food color Method: Boil the rice for 13 minutes, drain the water , set aside. In a wok add oil,fry onion untill golden brown,add chicken,gingergarlic paste, saute 5 mins until color changes, add all the mentioned spices, cook for 7-8 mins,(add potatoes at this stage if you want to)and tomatoes. cover and let it cook for 15 min, uncover and cook until oil separates. Layer the boiled and drained rice ,then add chicken, coriander,and then rice as shown,add remaining oil. Restaurant Style Chicken Tikka Biryani #fyp #easyrecipes #foodtok #desi #biryani Ingredients For Chicken Marinade • 2 kg chicken • ½ cup yoghurt • Juice of 1 large lemon • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste • 1½ tsp red chilli powder • 2 tsp garam masala • 1 tsp turmeric powder • 2 tsp coriander powder • ¼ tsp food colour (optional) • Salt to taste • 2 tbsp oil ⸻ Method 1. Marinate the Chicken Mix all marinade ingredients with chicken. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours. ⸻ 2. Cook the Chicken (Tikka Style) • Heat 4 tbsp butter in a pan • Add marinated chicken • Cook until: • Water dries • Chicken is fully cooked ⸻ 3. Add Charcoal Smoke • Heat a small piece of charcoal until red hot • Place a small metal bowl or foil inside the chicken pan • Put the hot charcoal in it • Add a few drops of oil or butter on the charcoal • Immediately cover the pan tightly Let it smoke for 5 minutes Remove charcoal 4. Prepare the Masala • Heat ½ cup oil • Fry 3 sliced onions until golden • Add 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste • Add crushed tomatoes → cook until oil separates • Add: • 2 tbsp biryani masala • ½ tsp chilli powder • ½ tsp turmeric • 1 tsp garam masala • 2 tsp coriander powder • 3 bay leaves • ½ tsp cumin • 4 cloves • ½ tsp black pepper • Add cooked smoked chicken + leftover marinade • Cook 5–10 minutes ⸻ 5. Cook the Rice • Boil salted water • Add 4 cups basmati rice • Cook until 80% done • Drain ⸻ 6. Layer the Biryani • Layer masala → chicken → rice • Repeat layers • Top with: • Mint leaves • Fried onions • Food colour ⸻ 7. Dum Cooking • Cover tightly • Cook on low heat for 20 minutes

HOW TO MAKE THE BEST EASY PAKISTANI ONE POT MIXED CHICKEN BIRYANI RECIPE 😍🇵🇰😍🇵🇰!! This is by far the easiest Biryani recipe out there, considering it’s genuinely a one pot dish. Sometimes you want a Biryani but boiling rice separately seems like a lot of effort sometimes. In comes my recipe! Mixed Biryani is a dish most people don’t know about as it’s not commonly eaten at home. Traditionally this kind of biryani they make at weddings, due to it’s ease because boiling a top if rice separate isn’t always possible for caterers. Some people call this pilau biryani, mix biryani and mixed biryani. INGREDIENTS: - 1/2 cup oil/ghee - 1 kg chicken (leg/thigh, not breast) - 2 onions (1 is for garnish) - 125g crushed tomatoes (or passata) - 1/3 cup yogurt (preferably sour) - 3/4 packet biryani masala (any mix is fine, I used a mix) - 3 tbsp ginger-garlic paste - 3 cups basmati rice (washed and soaked) - 4.5 cups water GARNISH: - Chopped coriander (1/4 bunch) - Chopped mint - Fried onions - Red/orange food colouring STEPS: 1. Heat the oil in a deep pan over medium heat. 2. Add onions and shallow fry until brown and remove half for garnish. 3. Add chicken, cook for 1 min. 4. Add ginger garlic paste, biryani masala, tomatoes & yogurt. Cook on medium for 15 mins, till half done. 5. Add water, simmer till chicken is fully cooked and bubbling. 6. Add the rice (washed & soaked), cook for about 15 mins, till holes appear on top. 7. Add food colouring on top (optional). 8. Cover with foil and steam (dumm) on lowest heat 15 mins, till done. 9. Garnish with coriander, mint and fried onions. 10. Enjoy! Chicken Biryani Recipe I have only made biryani using two methods. The first recipe I learnt was from my mother in law and recently tried one by kun foods’s (daigi biryani recipe) . I combined both to create a third one 🤣😆 turned out delicious!! My wok is from @hexclad love the triple technology ( stainless steel, cast iron and ceramic non stick) Ingredients: •Chicken 1-1.5kg •Oil 1 cup + Ghee/oil 3 tbsp for later •Onion 4 Large thinly sliced •Tomato 500g (5-6) •Dried Plums ( optional) •Fresh Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tbsp •Green 5-5 •Potato 4-5 •Yogurt 1 cup •Lemon Slices 2lemons •Mint & Coriander Leaves ( 1 cup chopped) •Orange food color •Potatoes ( 4-5 cut into quarters & boiled select) •Spices: Salt to taste, 1 tbsp Red Chilli powder+ chili flakes + cumin + 2tbsp corriander ,1 tsp turmeric, 3 tbsp Shan Bombay Biryani Masala, Chicken cube 1 + roughly Grind these spices:( 1 tbsp Cumin, 1 Nutmeg , frw black pepper corns, Cinnamon stick 1, 1 star anise, 3-4 cloves) •Basmati Rice 3 Cups/ 500g a(soak in water for 40mins) •Salt 2 tbsp for rice + as per taste for gravy Method: 1. Add 1 cup oil in a wok. Add onions and fry yntil brown and crispy. Take our more than half and set aside. 2. Add Ginger garlic paste. Fry until aromatic then add chicken. Fry until it turns white then add all the mentioned spices except ground spices. 3. Blend tomatoes and green chilies. Add in chicken along with lemon slices and whisked yogurt. Mix well and let it cook in medium flame until oil water evaporates, oil seperates and chickenget tender . 4. Meanwhile gravy is cooking, boil potatoes separately. When both chicken and potatoes are tender, add potatoes in gravy and mix. Add a 1/2 cup of water in gravy along with orange food color and mix. Cook for a minute then turn the flame off. 5. Add chopped fried brown onion, mint, coriander and green chilies in gravy. Leave some for top. 6. Boil Water in a seperate wok. Add salt& soaked rice. Boil until 70% done.Then strain rice.Add boiled rice on top of gravy and drizzle 3 tbsp oil. 7. Cover and cook on high flame for 5-7 mins then turn the flame to medium low and let it simmer for 20 minutes. Serve with yogurt/raita/salad.
