This has to be the laziest way I’ve ever made biryani! Here's the Recipe! Cook time: 30 min Serves: 6 Ingredients: 2 Chicken Breast 2 potatoes 2 tomatoes 1 TBS garlic/ginger paste 5 fresh chillies 3 cups basmati rice 1 packet biryani masala 1 tsp salt 1 tsp red chilli powder 1/2 tsp turmeric 1/2 cinnamon stick 4 green cardamoms 1 tbs butter 2tbs yoghurt 1/2 handful mint 1/2 handful coriander 1 cup fried onions for rice: 1 tbs whole spices 1 bay leaf Method: Wash and dice chicken breast and potatoes. Wash and soak rice. In a pan, add oil and fry crushed garlic/ginger/2 chillies - 2 mins - medium heat. Add in chopped tomatoes and fry until soft. Add in chicken, potatoes, yoghurt, biryani masala, spices and fresh herbs. Mix and fry - 15 mins. Boil rice along with pilao masala and bay leaf until rice is 75% cooked. Add fresh herbs and 3 chopped fresh chillies and fried onions on top of biryani masala. Drain rice. Add on top of masala. Pour over food colouring, biryani masala and butter. Chicken Biryani Recipe I have only made biryani using two methods. The first recipe I learnt was from my mother in law and recently tried one by kun foods’s (daigi biryani recipe) . I combined both to create a third one 🤣😆 turned out delicious!! My wok is from @hexclad love the triple technology ( stainless steel, cast iron and ceramic non stick) Ingredients: •Chicken 1-1.5kg •Oil 1 cup + Ghee/oil 3 tbsp for later •Onion 4 Large thinly sliced •Tomato 500g (5-6) •Dried Plums ( optional) •Fresh Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tbsp •Green 5-5 •Potato 4-5 •Yogurt 1 cup •Lemon Slices 2lemons •Mint & Coriander Leaves ( 1 cup chopped) •Orange food color •Potatoes ( 4-5 cut into quarters & boiled select) •Spices: Salt to taste, 1 tbsp Red Chilli powder+ chili flakes + cumin + 2tbsp corriander ,1 tsp turmeric, 3 tbsp Shan Bombay Biryani Masala, Chicken cube 1 + roughly Grind these spices:( 1 tbsp Cumin, 1 Nutmeg , frw black pepper corns, Cinnamon stick 1, 1 star anise, 3-4 cloves) •Basmati Rice 3 Cups/ 500g a(soak in water for 40mins) •Salt 2 tbsp for rice + as per taste for gravy Method: 1. Add 1 cup oil in a wok. Add onions and fry yntil brown and crispy. Take our more than half and set aside. 2. Add Ginger garlic paste. Fry until aromatic then add chicken. Fry until it turns white then add all the mentioned spices except ground spices. 3. Blend tomatoes and green chilies. Add in chicken along with lemon slices and whisked yogurt. Mix well and let it cook in medium flame until oil water evaporates, oil seperates and chickenget tender . 4. Meanwhile gravy is cooking, boil potatoes separately. When both chicken and potatoes are tender, add potatoes in gravy and mix. Add a 1/2 cup of water in gravy along with orange food color and mix. Cook for a minute then turn the flame off. 5. Add chopped fried brown onion, mint, coriander and green chilies in gravy. Leave some for top. 6. Boil Water in a seperate wok. Add salt& soaked rice. Boil until 70% done.Then strain rice.Add boiled rice on top of gravy and drizzle 3 tbsp oil. 7. Cover and cook on high flame for 5-7 mins then turn the flame to medium low and let it simmer for 20 minutes. Serve with yogurt/raita/salad.

Detailed recipe : For 1 kg chicken take 1 kg biryani rice Chicken marination 1/2 teaspoon turmeric 4 tsp red chilli powder 3 and half spoon salt 3 teaspoons coriander powder Home made biryani masala 3 and half teaspoons Curd 3/4 cup 3 onions to make fried onions Handful of mint (pudina) Handful of coriander leaves 2 to 3 red chilli 1and half tablespoon of Ginger garlic paste Squeeze 1 and half lemon Fried onion oil 1/4 cup 1 tablespoon Ghee Mix well and marinate for 40 to 45 minutes 1 kg biryani rice wash neatly and soak for 1 hour Who prefers light masala in biryani use 1 and half kg rice for 1 kg chicken For Masala lovers for 1 kg chicken 1 kg rice Cook marinated chicken on high flame for 2 to 3 minutes then cook on low flame for 15 minutes or 50% done Now for rice add water more than half of taken bowl Add 1 tsp shahi jeera 5 cloves 4 elachi 2 star anise 2 bay leafs Medium size cinnamon stick 2 red chillies Few mint and coriander leaves Add squeezed lemon peel in it Add 1 tbsp fried onion oil Add 3 teaspoons because water should be salty Rice will absorb whatever it needed After water boils remove lemon and red chilli Now remove water in soaked rice and add only rice Give it a nice boil to rice Check rice grain with finger it should break now it’s done up to 70 to 75% Now remove some gravy in chicken and keep a side Now layer the rice as shown in video sprinkle some fried onions mint and coriander in between Repeat same for second layer Add half cup of cooked rice water Add chicken gravy part on top layer Add 1 tbsp of Ghee Cover the lid now place tava on gas stove Place biryani handi on tawa close the lid and put a heavy object on it On high flame for 5 minutes and 25 minutes on low flame Off the stove and don’t remove the lid immediately Rest it for 10 more minutes Now chicken biryani is read enjoy 😍 . . . #viralvideos #featured #instagram #explorepage #viral #viralreels #recipeoftheday #recipe #homemade #explore #foodporn #foodie #foodstagram #foodgasm #foodies #foods #hyderabad #hyderabadibiryani #chicken #chickenbiriyani #homecooking #cooking #family #recipeoftheday

Hyderabadi Chicken Biriyani 🍗🍲 Recipe: Serves 6-8 For the Marinade: * 2.5 lbs chicken (small pieces, dark meat) * 1/2 cup yogurt * 1/2 cup fried onions * 4 tbsp biryani masala (2 pre made, 2 homemade) @fadwamasala * Juice of 1/2 lime * 1.5 Tbsp of Salt
Puree: 1 1/2 tomatoes, 3 green chilies, 2 thumb-sized ginger pieces, 5-6 garlic cloves For the Rice: * 3 cups basmati rice * 3 liters water * 2 bay leaves, 2 cardamom pods, 1 cinnamon stick * 1 lemon (sliced), 1.5 tsp salt For Layering: * Fresh coriander, mint, fried onions, lemon slices * Saffron mixed with milk or food coloring Fried Onions: * 2 onions, thinly sliced * Oil to cover onions, fry with cold oil slowly until golden (20-25 mins), drain on paper towels. Optional Biryani Masala: Coriander seeds, cumin, fennel, star anise, black pepper, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom Instructions: 1. Marinate the Chicken:
Mix chicken with yogurt, fried onions, puree, biryani masala, lime juice, and salt. Marinate for 1-2 hours (overnight for best flavor). 2. Prepare Rice:
Wash rice, boil with water, bay leaves, cardamom, cinnamon, lemon, and salt. Cook for 6-7 minutes until 70% done. Drain. 3. Cook Chicken:
Heat 1/2 cup fried onion oil, cook marinated chicken for 15-20 minutes on medium heat. Add water if needed, cook for 10 more minutes on low heat until oil separates. 4. Layer the Biryani:
In a heavy pot, layer half the chicken, then rice. Garnish with mint, coriander, fried onions, and lemon slices. Repeat layers. Drizzle saffron milk. 5. Dum Cooking:
Cover with foil and a heavy lid. Cook on low heat (or in a 350°F oven) for 25 minutes. Let it rest for 10 minutes before opening. 6. Serve:

HOW TO MAKE THE BEST EASY PAKISTANI ONE POT MIXED CHICKEN BIRYANI RECIPE 😍🇵🇰😍🇵🇰!! This is by far the easiest Biryani recipe out there, considering it’s genuinely a one pot dish. Sometimes you want a Biryani but boiling rice separately seems like a lot of effort sometimes. In comes my recipe! Mixed Biryani is a dish most people don’t know about as it’s not commonly eaten at home. Traditionally this kind of biryani they make at weddings, due to it’s ease because boiling a top if rice separate isn’t always possible for caterers. Some people call this pilau biryani, mix biryani and mixed biryani. INGREDIENTS: - 1/2 cup oil/ghee - 1 kg chicken (leg/thigh, not breast) - 2 onions (1 is for garnish) - 125g crushed tomatoes (or passata) - 1/3 cup yogurt (preferably sour) - 3/4 packet biryani masala (any mix is fine, I used a mix) - 3 tbsp ginger-garlic paste - 3 cups basmati rice (washed and soaked) - 4.5 cups water GARNISH: - Chopped coriander (1/4 bunch) - Chopped mint - Fried onions - Red/orange food colouring STEPS: 1. Heat the oil in a deep pan over medium heat. 2. Add onions and shallow fry until brown and remove half for garnish. 3. Add chicken, cook for 1 min. 4. Add ginger garlic paste, biryani masala, tomatoes & yogurt. Cook on medium for 15 mins, till half done. 5. Add water, simmer till chicken is fully cooked and bubbling. 6. Add the rice (washed & soaked), cook for about 15 mins, till holes appear on top. 7. Add food colouring on top (optional). 8. Cover with foil and steam (dumm) on lowest heat 15 mins, till done. 9. Garnish with coriander, mint and fried onions. 10. Enjoy!
