WH🕷️This feels wrong to say out loud but it’s true! I did used to struggle with a lot of typical boy cake requests, maybe because of the primary colors, rigid design elements, and (what I used to think) a lack of creative direction.
But now that I have my own little guy - who definitely gets excited by all things action/super hero/monster truck etc, I try to channel his excitement. I was SO excited to show him this one when I was done, and his reaction did not disappoint even though it wasn’t even his cake!! 🥰 #boymom
It also helps that I have become more confident in my boundaries to suggest designs that are more suited to my artistic strengths. And my clients are the best and generally agree to give me some creative freedom within the theme 🫶🏼
