How I create an Ombré Effect with Browcode Stain. 1. First off, apply the dye starting at the tail first and work your way towards the front. 2. When you get to the front apply a thinner layer. 3. Before going onto the next brows. Use a microswab that is slightly damp with water and start brushing the dye upwards passed the mapping lines. The water will dilute the dye making it a lighter and softer colour. 4. Once you’ve finished doing the above steps on both brows, go back to the first brow you did and remove about 1-1.5cm off the fronts. 5. After the dye has dried (5-10 mins usually in my salon) remove the middle of the brow with a cotton tip dipped in water. 6. After another 5 minutes remove the rest of the dye with a damp cotton round. Please note: Timings will vary depending on shades you choose, how deep of a stain you want, the clients skin type, how long it takes to dry and your application. Our most frequent asked question! 🚨How do I get the brows symmetrical?!🚨 GIRL I GOT YOU 👏🏽 1 -Locate the front of the brow. Place your ruler/string vertically alongside the outer edge of the bottom of the nose. Mark with a brow pen or string. 2- The arch should peak above the outer rim of the iris & lie right on your brow bone. Mark with a pen/string, arch to arch to ensure they are symmetrical (from the highest point) 3- Place the ruler/string on an angle against your cheek from the bottom of your nose. Mark the tail of the brow with a brow pen or string. You then have your foundation markings. After marking your foundation points, you want to ensure they are symmetrical. Do this by measuring; 4- The base of the front of the brow. Use your ruler/string to ensure the sister brow is symmetrical height and mark. 5- The top of the front of the brow where you begin the ascent. Use your ruler/string to measure across to the sister brow to ensure they are symmetrical height. From there starting with the bottom line, follow the brow bone and connect to the tail marking. This will only be a slight incline.
