Fue localizado el cocodrilo que llevaba varios días desaparecido en la comunidad de Islabón, en Sabaneta de Yásica, propiedad del empresario Rudy Martínez, dueño del restaurante Rugama Tour.
El animal fue capturado la tarde de este lunes en la laguna de Cabarete, en un operativo donde participaron el Servicio Nacional de Protección Ambiental (SENPA), Turismo, Medio Ambiente y otras instituciones.
Tras su captura, fue entregado a su propietario por el encargado de Medio Ambiente en Sosúa, quedando la situación bajo control de las autoridades.
