Here’s a super simple calendula honey balm you can make at home that is amazing for dry skin, irritations, eczema, protecting your skin from nasty weather, etc.
Here’s how we make it
3 tbsp calendula infused oil (click the linked reel to see how to make it)
2 tbsp beeswax
4 tbsp shea butter
1.5 tbsp raw honey
a few drops of optional essential oil of choice (I chose lavender)
In a double boiler, gently melt together the infused oil, beeswax, and shea. Let it cool slightly (you do not want to add the honey while it’s too warm as it will loose its beneficial properties and likely separate). Once cooled, add the honey and optional essential oil. Mix and pour into jar or tin. Let fully set before sealing and enjoy 🌼
