It takes ANY flattened image... stock photos, graphics you bought, your old designs and separates everything into editable layers. I used it here on a stock photo and a flat graphic. Now I can remove the background, change colors, delete elements I don't want, move things around, basically edit anything like it was never flattened. This is perfect for when you buy graphics from Etsy that are PNG files and you can't customize them. Or when you screenshot something for inspiration and want to pull out specific elements. Or when you can't find your original Canva file and only have the exported version. Magic Layers just gives you so much more control and saves you from having to recreate things from scratch or buy new graphics. Want to learn how to use Canva like a pro? But “fine” is not a brand strategy. And your audience can tell the difference between “she designed this” and “she hit generate and walked away.” The problem isn’t that you used AI. The problem is you let AI have the last word. Canva’s Magic Layers tool exists specifically for this.
