MINI EGG CARAMEL SLICE🩷 My third year in a row of posting this because it is that good!!!! From the wonderful @janespatisserie #recipe Shortbread base ❤️ 250g butter, room temp ❤️ 70g powdered sugar ❤️ 240g plain flour ❤️ 1 or 2 bags of mini eggs, crushed Caramel filling 💛 1 can condensed milk 💛 200g butter 💛 80g sugar 💛 100g golden syrup Chocolate layer 🤎 1 large block of choc (360 g) 🤎 1 pack mini eggs crushed 1. Cream the butter and icing sugar together. Add in the flour until well combined. Then fold the crushed mini eggs through. Press into the bottom of a lined square baking tin. 2. Bake for 22-26 mins in the oven at 180 C. Or until golden brown. Take out and let it cool completely before continuing on. 3. In a pot on medium heat add the condensed milk, butter and golden syrup. Keep whisking until everything is dissolved. Continually stir for around 7-9 mins until it turns a golden caramel colour. 4. Pour onto the shortbread base and let it set in the fridge for at least 30 mins 5. Melt the choc. Pour over the caramel layer. Top with crushed mini eggs. Let it set in the fridge. 6. Slice into 16 squares or 32 rectangles! ENJOYYYY!!! #easter #caramelslice #dessert

SIMPLE CARAMEL SLICE: we used to think caramel slice was sooo hard to make, almost the equivalent of baking croquembouche 😂 We’ve since made it 100 times & absolutely LOVE how easy but crowd pleasing it is. You have to make this one ❤️ BASE: 1 cup plain flour 1/4 cup brown sugar 100g butter, melted CARAMEL: 395g sweetened condensed milk 50g butter, diced CHOC TOP: 180g milk chocolate 1 tbs vegetable/coconut oil METHOD: 1. Preheat the oven to 180C. 2. Combine all base ingredients in a bowl. 3. Press evenly into a small lined tray. 4. Bake for 15 mins & then rest for 2 mins. 5. Add caramel ingredients to a saucepan. 6. Whisk over medium heat for 5-10 mins to thicken. 7. Pour caramel over the base & bake for 15 mins. 8. Leave to cool for 1 hour. 9. Melt the choc top ingredients together. 10. Pour the choc over the caramel. 11. Refrigerate to set & cut into squares. YUM!

As promised here is my Caramel slice recipe Base: 250g packet of sweet biscuits 1/2 cup desiccated coconut 125g melted unsalted butter Blitz biscuits and coconut in a food processor until it resembles fine sand. Add melted butter to the processor and blitz again until it resembles wet sand. Press into a lined slice tin (23x23cm or equivalent). Bake in 180c preheated oven for 10 minutes Caramel: 1 tin of sweetened condensed milk 2 tablespoons golden syrup 60g unsalted butter Place all ingredients into a microwave safe container and heat until melted. Mix it well and then microwave for another 2 minutes. Watch so that it doesn’t bubble over. Pour caramel onto cooked biscuit base and then bake for another 12 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool before adding chocolate top. Chocolate: 150g dark cooking chocolate (the better quality the nicer taste) 50g copha Melt together in microwave and stir occasionally until completely combined. Pour into cooked and cooled slice while still in the tin. Refrigerate slice for 2-4 hours until completely set. Slice with a knife. For a clean slice, sit the knife in warm water to head the blade. Wipe the blade dry and slice. Should make around 24 slices. #baking #easyrecipes #caramelslice #schoolholidayfun

Save this one for your weekend baking! 🍫 Mini Egg Millionaire Shortbread What You'll Need: 250g unsalted butter, chopped 2 x 125g packets Mini Eggs 1 1/2 cups plain flour 3 x 397g cans Woolworths sweetened condensed milk 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar 180g packet white chocolate, chopped 1 tbs vegetable oil 2 tbs bright sprinkles Let's Bake It: Prep the Base: Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Line a 22cm square pan. Melt half the butter. Process half the Mini Eggs with the flour and melted butter, and press into the base. Bake for 10–15 minutes. Cool completely. Make the Caramel: Combine the remaining butter, condensed milk, and brown sugar. Stir constantly over low heat for 12–15 minutes until thick and golden. Pour over the base. Chill: Time to be patient! Refrigerate for 4 hours (or better yet, overnight!). Top It Off: Melt the white chocolate and oil until smooth. Pour over the caramel. Scatter with the reserved chopped Mini Eggs and bright sprinkles. Set & Serve: Refrigerate for 1 hour, then slice into squares and enjoy the crunch!

Caramel Slice Ingredients: Base: 1 cup plain flour 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup desiccated coconut 125g melted butter Caramel filling: 1 can sweetened condensed milk 100g cubed butter 1/2 cup brown sugar Choc-top: 225g milk chocolate 1 tbsp coconut oil 1. To make the base, in a bowl add flour, brown sugar, desiccated coconut and melted butter. Mix until well combined. 2. Press it into a lined baking tin and place in the oven on 180°C for around 15 mins. 3. In a saucepan add sweetened condensed milk, butter and brown sugar and stir on medium-low heat until thickened and golden brown. 4. Once the base is cooked, pour the thick caramel onto the base and bake in the oven for another 12-15 mins until golden brown. 5. Once golden and bubbling, take out of the oven and place on a cooling rack for 20 mins before placing in the fridge to set for 1 hour. 6. To make the chocolate top, melt 225g of milk and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil over a double boiler until fully melted. 7. Pour it onto the caramel and place it back into the fridge until set. 8. Lightly grease a shallow, rectangular baking tin & line with baking paper for easy removal. 2. Make the base: Combine crushed biscuits, melted butter and coconut in a mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly. Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the base of the prepared tin. 3. Cook the caramel layer: In a small saucepan, combine condensed milk, butter, sugar, and golden syrup. 4. Stir constantly over low heat for about 15 minutes, until the sugar dissolves completely and the mixture thickens into a smooth caramel. 5. Remove from heat & carefully pour over the biscuit base. Spread it evenly with a spatula and let it cool briefly. Then refrigerate until the caramel layer is completely set. 6. Make the chocolate topping: Put the chocolate melts and butter in a heatproof bowl or pot. 7. Stir gently until the chocolate is fully melted & mixture is smooth. Pour over the chilled caramel layer and spread evenly. 8. Set & slice: Allow the chocolate to set completely in the refrigerator. Once firm, remove from tin and use a sharp knife to cut into smaller portions. You need: - 1.5 packets McVitie’s Golden Caramel Digestives Caramel - 125g butter Caramel filling - 1/4 cup golden syrup - 90g butter - 1 & 1/2 400g cans condensed milk Chocolate topping - 155g dark chocolate - 3 tsp vegetable oil Recipe: - Place the McVitie’s Golden Caramel Digestives Caramel in a food processor and process into biscuit crumbs - Stir in melted butter and firmly press into a baking dish - To make the caramel, mix the golden syrup, butter and condensed milk in a pan on low heat for 8 mins until the caramel has thickened - Pour over the base and bake for 17 mins at 180°C. Refrigerate until cold - For the chocolate topping, mix chocolate and oil in a saucepan on low hear until melted, then pour over the slice. Refrigerate then cut into slices & enjoy! #McVitiesANZ #ad

CARAMEL SWIRL SLICE ✨ The easiest, yummiest caramel slice for Christmas, parties… or just because. Save this one! INGREDIENTS • 100g condensed milk • 80g butter • 1 packet Griffin’s Caramel Waffle Spice Biscuits (for the base) • 2 blocks Caramilk chocolate • 1 - 2 tbsp Biscoff spread (for swirling) • 2 Griffin’s Caramel biscuits, crushed (for the edges) • 1 tbsp coconut oil (to stop the chocolate cracking) 1. Crush the Caramel Waffle Spice Biscuits in a zip lock bag until fine. 2. Melt together the butter and condensed milk, then mix through the crushed biscuits. 3. Press the mixture firmly into a lined baking dish. Chill for 30 minutes. 4. Melt the Caramilk with a little coconut oil. 5. Pour the melted Caramilk over the chilled base. 6. Melt a small amount of Biscoff and drizzle over the top. Use a toothpick to swirl. 7. Sprinkle the crushed Griffin’s Caramel biscuits around the edges. 8. Refrigerate for a couple of hours until fully set. 9.
