SIFelt like this post was fitting for International Women’s Day 💕
This past week was mentally challenging. Finding out about my fractured wrist just a week before taking on 400 brutal miles and having it hard casted had me questioning everything. I was told by many people not to race, and I definitely had thoughts about pulling out.
But being my hard-headed self, I decided to go for it anyway… and I’m so glad I did. Between cutting my race suit, finding gloves to fit my cast, grinding it down to fit the steering wheel and cutting inches off for better steering, it was NOT easy.
Just a reminder this International Women’s Day that we can do anything we put our minds to.
We are so much more capable than we think, and I hope to keep inspiring the next generation of racers.
Shoutout to all the girls out there defying the odds 👏🏼💕
