Both look like teddy bears
Poodle mix w/ Cavalier King Charles Spaniel or Golden Retriever
Loves to cuddle and spend time with their humans
Enjoys human touch particularly massages
Requires nightly grooming & professional grooming every 4-8 weeks
Both follow you everywhere even when they’re sleepy
Both sleep in supine position
Bursts of energy / zoomies
Cavapoo Traits
* Distinctive cotton chest
* Extremely intelligent & loves learning new command words & tricks
* Very protective & territorial, especially females
* Heightened sense of hearing
* Intuitive & cunning
* Picky eater
* Easy to potty train
* Can jump really high
* Exhausting as a teenager
* Higher separation anxiety than a mini goldendoodle
* Average weight: 18-22lbs.
Mini Goldendoodle Traits
* Very playful— loves toys
* Food motivated
* Loves a game of fetch — attributed to the retriever gene
* Happy go lucky
* Enjoys grooming time
* Either with poodle curly hair or retriever wavy/straight hair
* People magnet
* Can thrive in apartments
* Slower learner than a Cavapoo
* Separation anxiety but eventually calms down faster than a Cavapoo
* Chill demeanor but very social
* Loves to chase
* Average weight: 22-27lbs.
Disadvantages:
* You’ll never want to leave them.
* You’d rather cuddle than work.
* They act like children & cared for like real kids.
* Monthly budget for grooming products & professional grooming.
* If you’re an introvert, be prepared to get out of your shell because they magnetize people.
