That’s our first mistake.
If you’re starting CFA Level 1, get the foundation right first:
• Understand basic finance
• Learn how the three financial statements actually connect
CFA isn’t about finishing videos.
It’s about understanding concepts well enough to apply them.
A few things that actually matter:
• Multiple revisions are non-negotiable
• Practice portal questions early. Reading and solving are very different skills
• Start tough subjects like FSA, Fixed Income, Quants and Derivatives early. They need time
• During revision, highlight concepts where you get stuck. That’s where marks are lost
Use tools like AI to simplify concepts when things don’t click.
Understanding > memorising.
This approach builds you for CFA Level 1, not just the exam, but the thinking.
