KAJustice B. R. Gavai के भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश (CJI) बनने के बाद कोई बहुत बड़ा संविधान पीठ (Constitution Bench) वाला ऐतिहासिक फैसला सार्वजनिक रूप से सामने नहीं आया था, क्योंकि CJI बनने के बाद शुरुआती समय में वे प्रायः प्रशासनिक जिम्मेदारियों और बेंच गठन में व्यस्त रहते थै।
लेकिन उनके CJI कार्यकाल के दौरान दिए गए या जारी किए गए कुछ महत्वपूर्ण आदेश/रुझान (Key Orders & Judicial Approach) इस प्रकार समझे जा सकते हैं:
⚖️ 1. न्यायिक प्रक्रिया में पारदर्शिता पर जोर
CJI गवई ने मामलों की फास्ट लिस्टिंग और सुनवाई पर ध्यान दिया
लंबित मामलों को कम करने की दिशा में सक्रिय रुख अपनाया
⚖️ 2. व्यक्तिगत स्वतंत्रता (Article 21) को प्राथमिकता
कई मामलों में जमानत (Bail) को बढ़ावा दिया
सिद्धांत दोहराया:

न्यायिक स्वतंत्रता (Judicial Independence) को लोकतंत्र का आधार बताया
