TESo I've got a chai recipe that I've been making for some time now:
Potent and spicy this aptly named "Dragonfire Chai" has a pleasant burn, but also a lot more subtle notes you can hunt for with its variety of spices.
If you try it let me know your thoughts.
0.75 G pink peppercorn
0.75 G Black peppercorn
2 Long peppercorns
1/2 Quill Sri lankan cinnamon
4 G Vietnamese Cinnamon
3 G Ginger
0.75 G Rose pedals
0.75 G Lavender
0.75 G mace
0.75 G dried orange zest
7 Green cardamom pods
1.5g Star anise
6 Cloves
2 Cups water
2 Cups Milk
10G Black Tea
Honey
1: Grind spices (all but cinnamon Quill)
2: Add spice mix and cinnamon quill to pot with water.
3: Bring to a boil, cover for 5 Minutes off heat.
4: Add milk of choice
5: Bring back to a boil, add tea and honey
6: Remove from heat, cover for 5 minutes
7: strain and serve.
