👇Cheerios Recipe
2 cups sprouted rolled oats, milled into flour
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tbsp melted butter
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup warm water + another 1/4 cup warm water
Mix oats and salt in a large bowl. Add melted butter, maple syrup and 1 vanilla and mix until little chunks form. Add 1/4 cup water and mix until you have a round dough. Allow to rest for 10 minutes
Remove the dough and begin to massage dough on counter with hand. Add a little bit of water and continue to massage. Use a dough scraper to help pick up the dough. It will be very crumbly and sticky at first. Continue to massage and add water until you have a smooth, soft dough. When dough is smooth, take a little piece of dough and roll between your palms until smooth. Poke a hole using a chopstick, then place onto baking sheet.
Dough will dry out as you work, so you may need to add more water later on and massage dough again until smooth.
Bake at 325°F for 12 minutes until lightly golden. Turn oven down to 225F and bake 30 minutes until dry. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely so the Cheerios are crisp. Serve in a bowl with milk and enjoy immediately!
