HARecently, people have been asking me — what motivates me to do this, and why a clothing brand?
In short, the thought of me doing a 9-5 corporate job motivates me the most to pursue my dreams 💼
If you’re here for the long story… Ever since I was a teenager, I’ve had this urge to earn my own money and be independent. Something about that just fulfills my heart.
When I told my parents I wanted to start my own clothing brand, they advised me to take a more traditional route for stability purposes. So when I turned 17, I told myself I would save up to fund my dream business. I didn’t care what kind of job—as long as it was legal, I would do it. For the past 3 years, I’ve worked as a waitress, front of house, and sales assistant. This year, I saved enough money to finally launch one collection. I promised my parents that if this first collection doesn’t work out, I’ll find a stable corporate job. So I’m really grateful for all of you who have supported me from the beginning. 🥹
This past year has been so difficult, but it’s also been the most fulfilling I’ve ever felt career-wise (even though my brand’s only been officially announced for 4 days).
