👍In the production workshop of Rooq Electric Group Co., Ltd. in Chongren County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, workers are busy with inspection and packaging, preparing to ship various types of transformers to countries including Angola, Rwanda and Kazakhstan. In 2025, the company’s revenue reached approximately 80 million yuan, with export business accounting for 70%.
Located in central Jiangxi, Chongren County has a long-standing foundation in the power transmission and transformation industry, and transformers have become a pillar local industry. In 2025, Chongren’s medium and low-voltage transformers accounted for more than 80% of Jiangxi’s total production capacity, ranking among the top in the national market coverage, with products exported to nearly 50 countries.
Chongren County introduced a package of policies to support the development of the power transmission and transformation industry in 2025, including setting up a special team for international market development, supporting enterprises in obtaining overseas product certifications, and organizing enterprises to participate in key exhibitions, tailoring a "policy package" for companies to explore overseas markets.
In December 2025, Chongren County sent an economic and trade delegation to Kenya and Zambia to launch cross-border cooperation. "The trip brought not only orders, but more importantly, it showed more enterprises the potential of overseas markets and boosted the confidence of small and medium-sized enterprises in expanding globally as a group," said Fang Ningji, Director of the Chongren County Bureau of Industry and Information Technology.
