Just tie 4 (I’m sure 3 or 5 would also work) strings to an elastic and you are ready! These can also be kept to use over and over.
You can also turn this into a partner challenge where each person holds two strings.
I have lots of these group games on my page, including the level up to this where they have to stack the cups in a pyramid.

TE✨Classroom Tapple✨ I use this as a review game or a brain break! It’s a fast paced game that encourages students to think quickly and pay attention.
How to Play:
1. Pick a category (example: “Animals”, “Foods”, “Verbs”)
2. Students sit in a circle and take turns quickly saying a word that fits the category.
3. Each answer must be unique—no repeats!
4. If a student hesitates too long or repeats a word, they’re out for that round (or lose a point—your choice!).
5. Keep going until one student is left or time runs out.
*If you have a lot of students, split into groups and have them go against each other!

FIWe adapted the viral “Don’t Touch the Color” game for DECIMALS and science vocabulary today 👏🏼
(Original game idea by @cam2r — go check them out, I crack up at their videos 😂)
Here’s how we adapted the game:
• I lay out papers with decimals (up to the hundredths place) or science vocab words.
• Player 1 reads one out loud.
• BOTH players immediately touch a paper — but they must NOT TOUCH the one that was called.
• If a player touches the word/decimal that was read… they’re out.
Winner stays and battles the next challenger.
Players take turns reading each round.
Classroom tweaks I added:
✔️ An “attempt” counts — even if they hesitate and don’t fully hit a paper (no slow-motion strategy allowed 😅).
✔️ Students can ask for a partner if they need support with the skill.
It was fast, loud, and competitive. And they practiced way more than they would on a worksheet.
