LIHuge congrats to Marta and team on opening the beautiful new @the_tea_veranda_clevedon on Hill Road this morning! ✨ In just two weeks they’ve turned the former muddy boots into a beautiful destination for tea and other treats.
On the menu you will find
🫖 A variety of high quality Ceylon teas from Sri Lanka
🍰 A whole manner of cakes, pastries, cheesecakes, macarons (you name it!) from local suppliers
🥪 A selection of savoury options including quiche, croissants and focaccias
🍫 Chocolate pairings curated by Clevedon’s very own @indulgencechocolates
🧁 Afternoon tea for £25pp
☕️ Coffee and a variety of soft drinks if like me you’re not particularly tea inclined (I’m ready to learn though!)
It’s decorated beautifully and there are loads of gorgeous details such as the crockery, napkins and golden forks 💕 Prices were reasonable, my slice of Victoria Sponge cost me £4.50 which is market average I’d say. (The cupcake was a freebie for the first 30 customers 🛍️)
They’re planning to open 10 til 5 daily, with the exception of Thursday when they’ll be closed and it’s a 3pm finish on Sundays. No GF cakes available yet sadly as Marta hasn’t found a supplier, but hopefully soon. It’s wheelchair and pram accessible (love that the tables are nicely spaced, so you don’t feel on top of each other) and it’s guide dogs only.
