(Part 2) METHOD 👇🏻 Measured with the Heart Cob-Style White Bread Loaf ⚠️ Disclaimer: This process does not need to be followed exactly. You can do as many stretch and folds as you like throughout the first few hours and even through it into the fridge for the next day if you want! ✨ Quick Recipe Breakdown 👇🏻 Add to a bowl Strong white flour 1 sachet instant / dry yeast (handful) 2 t salt 1–2 T maple syrup Mix dry ingredients together Slowly add hotter-than-tap water Mix until it starts to resemble a dough (It should be quite wet and a little messy) Cover Let sit on the counter for 30 minutes Wet your hands Place your hand underneath the dough Lift up, wiggle slightly and pull across Repeat 8 times (My dough was quite lumpy so I did this for about 1 minute) Cover Let sit another 30 minutes Wet hands again Do 4 more stretch and folds Cover Let sit for 2 hours Lightly flour your hands Turn dough onto the counter Knock it back by kneading for about 20 seconds Shape into a ball Place hands underneath the dough Move in circular motions to tighten and gather the base Place onto parchment paper - cut my parchment because I find the type I’m using is sticking to my bread recently so I wanted to try prevent that. (Dust with the flour left on your worktop) Cover Let sit for 1½ hours until doubled in size Preheat oven to 220°C / 425°F / Gas Mark 7 Place a metal pot with lid into the oven to preheat Carefully transfer dough into the preheated pot Cover with lid Bake for 20 minutes Remove lid Reduce oven to 200°C / 400°F / Gas Mark 6 Bake for a further 30 minutes Remove from oven Cool completely on a wire rack Slice, slather in butter ✨ Then stuff your gob ✨ 👩🏼‍🍳 A Few Wee Tips & Notes 🔪 - You can use strong or plain flour - Wet hands stop sticking - Stretch and folds build gluten without heavy kneading - The wetter the dough, the softer and more open the crumb - Preheating the pot creates steam which gives you that proper crust. Also adding 4-6 ice cubes in with the bread also helps create steam - If it sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom, it’s done #TheKitchenShift #WhiteBread #CobLoaf #FromScratch #LearnToCookAndEatWell

No kneed bread is the easiest bread to make, and it’s as delicious as a French Boule from a bakery. Assemble the ingredients the night before and let the magic happen overnight. In the morning, bake this in a dutch oven and you’ll have the most delicious bread. 3 cups of flour 1 3/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp active dry yeast 1 1/2 cups room temperature water Preheat the oven and a Dutch oven to 420 degrees. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl and add the water. Stir to combine. The dough will be shaggy and tacky. Cover and let sit at room temperature for 12-18 hours. Flour your hands and scrape the dough from the sides of the bowl, and form it into a ball. There is no need to kneed the dough. It’s optional to score the top of the dough. Transfer the dough onto a pice of parchment paper. Take your Dutch oven out of the oven and place the parchment paper and dough into the Dutch oven. Cover and bake for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, remove the lid and bake uncovered at 350 for 15 more minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Enjoy! #homemade #freshbread #easyrecipes #bread

Recipe ✋🏼 I made Australian Cobb Loaf… but my husband said it didn’t taste like the one he remembers. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I baked my sourdough into a bread bowl and filled it with the cheesiest, creamiest, most indulgent dip—spinach, cream cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, crispy bacon (which I actually think you could skip 👀), and toasted bread chunks for dipping. So good, but SO rich. I thought I followed the right recipes, but apparently, they were all “too Sydney” for my Aussie husband, who’s from the countryside. It’s official. I’m on a bread bender. I WILL be making this 4 ingredient loaf every week for the foreseeable future. It’s soooo easy, flour, yeast, salt and water….are ya kidding me? And it makes an absolutely incredible loaf of fresh baked bread. I prep this after the girls go to bed the evening before I know we will need it, let it proof for a good 18 hours or so and then plop it in the oven at dinner time and BOOM. Bread magic. 3 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast 1 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 cups room temp water Stir together the flour, yeast and salt. Add the water and stir until a dough ball forms, it’ll look kinda scrappy and weird. Cover with plastic wrap and a clean kitchen towel and let it sit at room temp for 12-18 hours. I made mine at about 11pm and it was perfect for dinner the next day! Store in a draft free area. Remove, shape into a dough ball. Preheat oven to 450 and place a 6 quart Dutch oven in the oven to preheat. When oven is preheated place dough on a piece of parchment paper and put it in the Dutch oven. Cover and cook for 30 minutes, remove the lid and cook an additional 10-15 minutes until browned and beautiful. You will need a Dutch oven or an oven safe pot with a tight fitting lid to make this recipe. A Dutch oven is my absolute number one favorite pot/pan in my kitchen, I use it for everything!
