You don’t need to pay for Bolt, Lovable, or Cursor anymore. Seriously. I used to think you had to spend big bucks for a smart AI coding assistant. Turns out, you don’t.
Here’s what I found. Three free AI coders that work just as well. Maybe even better.
First, there’s Trae AI. It’s a new code editor. Lets you use top AI models like Claude 3.7 and DeepSeek R1. No limits. No fees. I tried it to build a landing page for a side project.
