🚨 BREAKING: Anthropic just dropped Claude Code Security and the game changed FOREVER! 🔥 This beast scans entire codebases like a genius security researcher → traces data flows, uncovers hidden high-severity vulnerabilities, injection flaws, memory corruption, auth bypasses & logic bugs that survived DECADES of expert reviews! 😱 Over 500 zero-days found in open-source projects already! No more false positives nightmare → AI reasoning + severity ratings + suggested patches (human-approved only). Traditional tools like CodeQL? Obsolete. Cybersecurity stocks tanked $15B+ overnight because defenders finally have frontier AI power! Who's scanning their repo first? This AI tool can hack into your website to find critical security flaws and write a full report in 90 minutes. Meet Shannon, an open-source AI tool that scored 96% on the XBOW benchmark. While everyone is shipping code faster with AI tools, the need for strong security checks is going to explode, and Shannon directly addresses that gap. And if you want the GitHub link, just comment “bugs” and I’ll send it to you.

These days, a lot of developers aren’t writing every line of code themselves. AI is doing a big part of the work. Tools like Cursor, Copilot, Replit ; they make things fast. Deadlines get met. Features get shipped. But the real issue starts when AI-written code goes straight into production without proper testing. And this isn’t rare. It’s already happening in real companies. Fast output feels good. Until security gets ignored. That’s where understanding cybersecurity actually matters. . . . 13% of AI Skills are dangerous. Right now ⚠️ Follow me on Youtube : https://www.youtube.com/@itsWilsonCharles If you've installed any AI skills in the last month — there's a 13% chance one of them is trying to steal your credentials. Snyk scanned nearly 4,000 AI skills: 🔴 534 with critical security flaws 🔴 76 confirmed malicious payloads — stealing API keys, installing backdoors 🔴 8 still live right now The barrier to publish a skill? A markdown file and a one-week-old GitHub account. No code signing. No security review. No sandbox. One attacker published 40+ malicious skills automatically. They look legit. They have downloads. They're stealing crypto keys. If you use Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex: 1️⃣ Audit what you've installed 2️⃣ Rotate any API keys or credentials 3️⃣ Stick to official skills from Anthropic, Vercel, or Stripe 4️⃣ Read the SKILL.md before you install — it's just markdown Skills are powerful. But treat them like npm packages — don't install blindly. . . . #aiskill #AISecurity #ToxicSkills #CyberSecurity #AIAgents #ClaudeCode #Cursor #Codex #APIKeys #Malware #AITools #WilsonCharles

Anthropic introduced Claude Code Security, an AI system that scans entire codebases, finds subtle vulnerabilities, and suggests real fixes engineers can review. Unlike traditional scanners that flag isolated issues, it analyzes how code components interact uncovering deeper logic flaws many tools miss. The market reaction was immediate, with several cybersecurity stocks reportedly dropping after the announcement. Whether this signals disruption or just hype remains to be seen. But one thing is clear: AI is moving fast into territory once owned by specialized security platforms. The real question replacement or augmentation? $15B moved out of cybersecurity in a single day. Not because of a breach. Because of a feature that isn’t even fully launched yet. Anthropic put Claude Code Security into research preview on Friday. Limited access. Not a full product. A preview. CrowdStrike dropped 8%. Okta 9%. SailPoint 9.4%. The cybersecurity ETF hit its lowest level since 2023. That reaction doesn’t make sense for a normal feature release. Unless investors are pricing in something bigger. Security has always operated slightly outside the core dev loop. Developers build and ship. A separate team runs scans, files tickets, triages findings, and patches weeks later. It’s slow, but that workflow is the foundation of an entire industry. What Anthropic showed points in a different direction. Not just scanning for known patterns. Actually reading code more contextually. Tracing data flows. Understanding how components connect. Suggesting the fix, not just flagging the issue. Detection and remediation collapsing into the same step, inside the development workflow. That doesn’t eliminate security teams. But it changes where value sits. If the predictable vulnerabilities get handled automatically, the role shifts. Less vulnerability chasing. More architecture. More system design. More oversight of AI-generated fixes. Markets aren’t reacting to a tool. They’re reacting to the possibility that the security workflow itself gets compressed. And when workflows compress, companies built around the old shape of that workflow are the ones exposed. Still early. Still preview. Plenty of open questions around reliability and trust. But markets don’t move $15B on a demo. They move $15B on direction. Video source: Anthropic #artificialintelligence #cybersecurity #softwaredevelopment #devsecops #techstrategy

Comment “security” and I’ll send you a copy-paste setup guide. Running OpenClaw without proper security setup can expose your system to unnecessary risks. Since the service runs on a known port by default, changing it and limiting external access is a critical first step. Using tools like Tailscale for private networking, fail2ban for brute-force protection, and strict firewall rules can significantly reduce exposure. Treat AI agents like new employees — limit access, monitor activity, and isolate credentials. #AISecurity #OpenClaw #CyberSecurity #AItools #DevOps

Everyone’s installing OpenClaw and giving an AI agent root access to their entire digital life. Your CISO is panicking. He’s right. OpenClaw runs locally, executes shell commands, accesses your files, and connects to your APIs. It’s not a chatbot. It’s an attack surface. 3 critical CVEs in 3 days. Cisco called it a security nightmare. CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, and Tenable all dropped advisories the same week. This isn’t hype. This is happening. Here’s what’s actually going wrong: Prompt Injection - attackers hijack your agent through crafted inputs Data Exfiltration - your sensitive data leaves your environment without you knowing Unverified Skills - third-party skills with zero security review running with full system access The fix exists. Veto protocols. Network firewalls. Sandboxed runtimes. Don’t uninstall OpenClaw. Secure it. Imagine building a house. Traditional security tools act like guards who only recognize burglars they’ve seen before. But what if the break-in method is new? That’s the limitation of pattern-based detection. AI-powered security tools reason through your code like an attacker would, tracing logic, data flow, and potential exploit paths before deployment. That’s where secure development is heading.
