even though this process can really be applied to learning anything new. at the start of the semester, i told myself i wanted to at least understand basic programming. you don’t need to know coding in biotech but i thought it’d be a useful skill to have to expand with.
i’m still a beginner but now i can actually read code (on a basic level), use functions, and write simple programs. with the help of ai, there’s so much potential for coding beyond that. the best day to start was yesterday so start now ✨

JAIt’s true coding is not an easy major at all!
But what is true is the the pay off, you may not always feel motivated to code.
I’m a full time computer science student as well as someone who decided to pay for a part time coding boot camp.
Ik it sounds crazy but even though my major was in computer science I still felt like I wasn’t good enough.
So I went part time in a coding bootcamp to further help me learn to code.
But let me tell you this journey is tough and coding is still very hard.
But nothing feels better after all that struggle when you finally get your program to compile 😎
Btw this is day 70/100 days of programming coding challenge.

Colt Steele - his data structures and algorithms course helped me understand the concepts I missed out on not doing a computer science degree. He’s an experienced bootcamp instructor and has a relaxed informal approach to explaning things.
Mike Dane - FreeCodeCamp, my first ever tutorial was with him, and I still remember sitting down in a coffee shop to watch the ‘Learn HTML’ course, and realising it was actually not as hard as I imagined.
Abdul Bari - helped me go deeper into DS&A’s and understand the concepts and theory of computer science, and to be able to talk freely about time/space complexity. 🐐
Net Ninja - his JavaScript course on Udemy is the best course I’ve ever done and was the first long form course I did. He’s also from Manchester, and loved his chilled teaching style.
We are in the age of the ‘digital hunter gatherer’, so go out there and find the resources and instructors you click with. 🚀👨🏻💻

It's a classic beginner coding project for a reason. It helps you gain a better understanding of loops and if statements. Also, it's a lot of fun to say you made a game to play with a computer!

Want to interact with your followers on Twitter even when you aren't online? First, you will need to sign up as a Twitter developer and follow the documentation from there! P.s it's not as difficult as it might first seem!
💡Guess the Number
This is a fun game that can be played with as many people as you want. Its also useful for generating random numbers for lotteries or board games! You will use skills that help you gain a deeper understanding with loops, the random function, variables, if/else, etc...
The most important part for all the games is that you build something you are interested in and would actually use! Why? Because it makes it much more interesting to actually build it and also if you go for an interview, you will be more excited to speak about it.
