I always thought coding was kinda boring—until I found this site that actually makes it fun. If you’ve ever wanted to learn but felt overwhelmed, this is a game-changer. Yeah, tech can seem intimidating at first, but if you like a good challenge, you’ll never be bored. That first time you get your code to work? It’s a feeling you won’t forget. #tech #coding #fyp #learning #programming #aesthetic

It’s true coding is not an easy major at all! But what is true is the the pay off, you may not always feel motivated to code. I’m a full time computer science student as well as someone who decided to pay for a part time coding boot camp. Ik it sounds crazy but even though my major was in computer science I still felt like I wasn’t good enough. So I went part time in a coding bootcamp to further help me learn to code. But let me tell you this journey is tough and coding is still very hard. But nothing feels better after all that struggle when you finally get your program to compile 😎 Btw this is day 70/100 days of programming coding challenge. #coding #codingchallenge #codingmotivation #computersciencemajor #programmingstudents #fullstackdeveloper #codingbootcamp #codewithme #learntocode #codingreels

Read caption (+save for later) 🪢 Habit 1: Coding problems can be overwhelming, but breaking them down into smaller tasks makes everything more manageable. Focus on one function or feature at a time instead of trying to fix everything at once. By dividing your work, you can focus better and make faster progress. This method helps you avoid feeling stuck and makes debugging much easier. 🪢 Habit 2: Simplicity is key. Avoid writing complex code that’s hard to read. Simple code is more efficient and easier to maintain. Use clear variable names, remove unnecessary lines, and stick to basic logic. By writing clear, simple code, you’ll spend less time fixing mistakes and more time improving your project. Clean code is always better than complicated code that confuses you and others. 🪢 Habit 3: Frequent testing is a game changer. Instead of waiting until the end, test your code after every change or update. This helps you catch bugs early and prevent them from snowballing into bigger problems. Use unit tests, debugging tools, and test-driven development to quickly spot issues. Regular testing is key to writing reliable and stable code. 🪢 Habit 4: If you feel stuck or frustrated, don’t keep staring at your screen. Take a short break to reset your mind. Go for a walk, grab a snack, or switch tasks for a while. A clear mind often leads to better ideas and solutions. Sometimes, your brain needs a little rest to solve problems. Taking breaks helps avoid burnout and boosts your problem-solving skills. 🪢 Habit 5: The world of coding is always evolving. Don’t stop at what you know. Stay curious and explore new technologies, frameworks, and languages. Follow coding blogs, watch tutorials, and practice coding challenges. The more you learn, the faster you’ll solve coding problems. Continuous learning makes you a better programmer and helps you stay up-to-date with industry trends. here’s how i learned how to code 👩🏻‍💻👐🏼 even though this process can really be applied to learning anything new. at the start of the semester, i told myself i wanted to at least understand basic programming. you don’t need to know coding in biotech but i thought it’d be a useful skill to have to expand with. i’m still a beginner but now i can actually read code (on a basic level), use functions, and write simple programs. with the help of ai, there’s so much potential for coding beyond that. the best day to start was yesterday so start now ✨
