MUThis is ROCK- although I’m considering renaming it Calacatta marble!
A handmade natural soap designed to look like marble- the design gets refined batch by batch.
Each bar is cold process soap, made in small batches in the UK, using plants and clay ingredients.
No two soaps are identical and that’s sort of the point!
This is soap-making approached as an art form-nature is the palette and soap is the canvas.
Cutting the top away reveals what the soap is meant to be- smooth and stone-like.

Our soaps are handcrafted using the traditional cold-process and saponification methods.
We bring together nourishing plant oils and butters and convert them into soap using the saponification method. This process not only makes our soaps extra nourishing and super-fatted but also creates glycerine as a by-product.
Glycerine, being a humectant, helps replenish the body's natural moisture levels and keeps skin soft and supple. 🥰
We've also replaced water with vegetable and fruit juices in the making of our soaps. The plant juices not only act as a solvent for the formulation because of the natural water content but also make our soaps nutrient-rich. 🌿
The cold-process method involves no heat and ensures all nutrients are stable and efficacious upon use. Our certified organic soaps are cured for 45-60 days to allow lye to escape completely and be ready for use. ✅️

SIHello beautiful friends — let me tell you about the moment my soap had completely different plans than I did! 🧼✨
I was making our brand new Silver Leaf Farm tallow and honey lavender bar — our very first essential oil line soap in our new signature round mold — and it started out the most beautiful creamy color! 😍 And then slowly but surely it started getting darker and darker and darker until it turned a gorgeous deep orange and I was just standing there watching it happen like 👀😬
So what actually happened? Let me explain! 🧼👇
🍯 The honey — honey contains natural sugars that caramelize when they come into contact with lye and heat during saponification! This is extremely common with honey soaps and causes that beautiful amber and orange color you see!
🌡️ The temperature — soaping at warmer temperatures accelerates the reaction and makes the honey caramelize even faster and darker!
🥛 The tallow — tallow based soaps naturally run warmer during saponification which adds even more heat to the mix!
The good news? This does not affect the quality of the soap at all — these bars are going to be absolutely beautiful and your skin is going to love them! 🍯🧼 Sometimes the best surprises happen in the soap studio! 😄🙌
To prevent it next time:
✅ Soap at cooler temperatures around 80 to 85 degrees
✅ Mix honey with a little water before adding
✅ Keep your mold somewhere cool after pouring!
