Assessmenet data should have data about the cause when it is a problem-focused diagnosis and must have rosk factors for risk diagnoses. Short term goals are challenging and it is easier to just write expected outcomes. Find out if that is what is required of you. We often talk about how the spa can be a game changer. But here is the proof. Unfortunately, this horse developed a laminitic episode post surgery. With hyperbarics, supportive meds, and making extensive use of our spa (just up to the ankles) in the first 24 hours. With 30 minute treatments every 2 hours for the first 24 hours we were able to resolve the episode (shout out to our interns for their hard work!). After the first day, we continued spa with reduced number of sessions as well as continued HBOT and supportive meds. Shout out as well to Dr. Cage Cruise, veterinary podiatrist.
