Colic is a well baby that cries. Is it wind? Is it fast uncomfortable development? Is it over tiredness? We don’t know. There are remedies out there such as infacol, windeze, colief, there is pretty much no evidence that these actually help, but some parents do swear by these products. Tends to start around 3-4 weeks and peaks around 6-8 weeks but tends to improve by 12-16 weeks It’s about trying to manage this period and pulling on your support network. Have a plan of how you are going to cope. This will pass. It’s horrendous and hard but it will pass. If you can, get out the house for some fresh air with them in the sling or the pram. Ask for help, if you have a partner at home who can help take over. If at any point you feel very angry or frustrated, put them in their crib for a few minutes or a safe place and take some deep breaths out side of the room. This will pass. I promise. Although only temporary it’s something I didn’t know a lot about at the time and with a bit research it’s something that I could have easily had under control🤍 The @coliefbabycare infant baby drops contain lactase which is the same enzyme that the body naturally makes.
