I am so happy to be collaborating with Urmila @urmimenon - writer, artist and educator, for ‘The Creative Mental Wellness Project’ which is all about using creative ways for your wellness. This week her project talks about tackling creative block using collaging/scrapbooking 💗 Ironically, I was going through a period of creative block recently with scrapbooking, and working on this project with Urmila reminded me of why I started in the first place! It was an enjoyable creative outlet that allowed me to use my keepsakes to make memories I could flip back through forever. But I started to put pressure on myself to make each spread look “perfect” over time.
