Read more about it below)🧡💙 If you have always fancied the art of Color Blocking from apart but don’t know how to style it, here is how you can start! 1️⃣ First things first, it’s important to understand the COLOR WHEEL. Keep a screenshot handy so that you can refer to it. It shows us how all of the colors relate to each other. 2️⃣ While the color blocking combinations are endless, you can start with COMPLEMENTARY COLORS of the color wheel aka #ComplementaryColorBlocking. Complementary colors are simply two opposite colors on the color wheel. For example, purple and yellow, orange & blue, etc. 3️⃣You can play with tints & shades of the opposite colors if you are not to comfortable with trying bright colors. Also, you can team up your outfits with accessories of neutral colors like I have done in the video. MY THREE TOP COLOUR BLOCKING TIPS 🔥 1. Start with precision sectioning Your sectioning is EVERYTHING. Use clean, straight partings to define your blocks, and clip everything out of the way with strong, no-slip clips. Take your time here… your application is only as good as your sectioning! Think of it like laying the foundation for a masterpiece. 2. Map out your colours Before you even touch the brush, plan your palette and placement like an artist would. Use tools like different colored clips, or post its with your set colours on to visualise the finished look. This helps avoid last minute changes and ensures every color pops exactly where you want it to. 3. Use the right tools & products For ultra clean lines, I like to work with a brush that is only as wide as your section. I get through a good selection of tint brushes during application so each different sized section colour block gets a different brush. I also recommend using @procarehairfoils foam wraps to keep those colors separated - they literally work wonders! Pro Tip: When it’s time to rinse, be strategic. Rinse section by section with cold water to prevent any bleeding. Color blocking is an art. Treat it like one, and your results will always be 🔥 #colourblock #colorblock #hair #haircolor #processporn
