✨ What is BATCHING?
Basically, batching is simply completing similar tasks during a specific period of time so that you don't get distracted by context switching.
This is one of the best methods to help you become more consistent.
☕️ Here's how I batch create my content:
👉 Decide how many videos you want to create per / week or month
e.g. I take one day each week, or every 2 weeks and create 7 to 10 clips in an hour
👉 Dress up and get your tripod out & start filming
Create a variety of shots, some with you in the frame, some with props, so you can mix and match later.
Start editing on CapCut and put them in your draft on IG
📌 Fyi - My process of filming a content takes 1-2 hours and lasts for 2 weeks.
👉 Time to write content ideas based on your content pillars
Don’t worry about writing the content or perfecting the title of it, just brainstorm ideas.
Write both content ideas and hooks on my note and make sure to think about the purpose of the posting. e.g. some content for IG strategy, and the others are for selling digital courses.
For example, your schedule could look like this:
✅ Monday - Research and outline the content for your videos
✅ Tuesday - Record 7 videos & Edit 7 videos
✅ Wednesday - Create & repurpose Carousel posts and schedule them
📍Content frequency and quantity are up to you. You can complete each step for 1-2 Carousel posts or 5-7 videos at a time when batching. Keeping your boundaries and limitations in mind, start small and work your way up.
