WHTruly I thought it was just a me thing until I made a reel about having an anterior placenta and it went viral and I realized SO many can relate!!
And now obviously I’m feeing plenty of movement and have been (I’m 35 weeks) but since the beginning of 3rd trimester when you start doing kick counts, there will be hours and hours where I just don’t feel anything.
Sometimes even half a day or more and MANY times this pregnancy I’ve gone entire nights basically not feeling anything (aka I don’t sleep at all and sit there stressing over why I don’t feel her).
I remember with Gabby feeling her move consistently for a few days then a day or so of not much and repeat. Same thing with Gia, chunks of time feeling literally nothing and one time towards the end we even went in finally after not feeling anything overnight and the next morning.
The other day was a little to no movement type of morning and I had an ultrasound that day and it was so weird because she was moving (little movements) but I couldn’t feel some of it so they must just get turned in there a certain way that it’s cushioned well behind that placenta😮💨
((Just sharing my experience so anyone else with an anterior placenta that may be experiencing this and the anxiety from it can know they aren’t alone!! My doctor is well aware of all of this and I’m closely followed (since I’m high risk) so no need to tell me to go get checked or anything🤣))
