Burwood has launched another brunch spot into our list of places to visit and have come ringing with an exciting menu that will be sure to turn heads and growl stomachs.
On the table:
🐟Salmon Cilbir
🍝Scallop Pasta
🧇Chicken Waffle
🍰Vanilla Basque Cheesecake
🍵Strawberry Matcha
☕️Pandan Cold Brew
Starting off with the Salmon Cilbir this was the most unique dish and the favourite for me. Garlic yoghurt mixed with poached eggs, chilli oil, avo, smoked salmon and pops of pomegranate. Mix it all up and have it with the warm bread. This dish was such a delight. Creamy, rich but bursting but balanced with bright additions. So good.
The scallop pasta looked tempting and it was a decent, Udon-like noodles, seared scallops with caviar and lathered together with miso bisque. A solid choice.
The chicken waffle is one of those items you can’t really go wrong. Fried chicken, waffles, maple and a running egg to boot. All the classics elements on one dish elevated with their choice of gochujang.
The drinks here are pretty cool! I got the pandan cold brew this was excellent. The pandan flavour is deep and makes for a nice contrast with the coffee.
This vanialla base cheesecake was legendary! Get this.
The strawberry matcha was also decent and comes with a strawberry sorbet!
