Ok hear me out….
I hear quite often from others that they love copper pieces but can’t wear them because of the green marks left behind.
So in case this happens to you, there’s some good news! The green discoloration after wearing copper is totally natural and completely harmless. It’s just the copper reacting to your body’s chemistry and doesn’t mean you’re having an allergic reaction to the copper. It washes off with some soap and water.
To be sure it can be quite annoying tho. I’ve experienced green discoloration under my copper rings, mainly due to not taking them off when washing my hands (don’t be like me 🙃)
However there are some ways to combat this annoyance! Clear nail polish can be used on the metal that comes into contact with your skin, or longer chains/cords so that the pendants rest on clothes instead. Also avoiding sunscreen/lotions in the area you’re wearing your jewelry.
Again this info is just in regards to the green discoloration while wearing copper jewelry, and some tips for minimizing this. Hope this helps ❤️ So if there’s copper jewelry out there you’ve been wanting, go for it! Don’t miss out! Copper is by far my favorite metal and could be yours too 😉

Half water & half apple cider vinegar for 2-5 min!! Then dry after. I only do this if I have gotten a batch of wire that I really needs it because sometimes they don’t always come super fresh but still definitely pure copper wire only! Other than that I just ketchup or baking soda paste :)).
