later the coffee gets cold
later people grow old
later life comes to an end
and the truth is
later often becomes never
that conversation you keep putting off
have it today
that trip you’re waiting to take
book it now
that person you’ve been meaning to call
pick up the phone
because later is a lie
we tell ourselves
to avoid discomfort
and before you know it
later turns into too late
time doesn’t wait for you to feel ready
it just runs out
so stop waiting
and start doing
I wrote my poetry book “Made In Heaven” for anyone who believed love would find them when the timing was right.
It’s about romance, love, hope, faith, and trusting God’s plan even when the wait feels heavy.
