Comment AUTHENTIC NETWORKING and I’ll send you a copy! I think networking gets a bad rap - people see it as this awkward process of hitting up strangers to try and finagle an intro or job referral or some other favor of transactional nature. But good networking, that actually adds value without feeling icky, comes from building real relationships. This takes away the weirdness of asking for favors, and opens up even more doors when people keep you top of mind for opportunities. The catch, however, is that this relationship-building needs to happen before you reach the point of “transaction”. If you are actively looking for a job and “need a network now”, lead with a curiosity to learn, rather than only seeking favors, and you’ll find that people are more willing to help. #networking #professionalnetworking #careergrowth #jobsearchstrategy #jobsearch

If I could go back in time, I’d tell my 20-year-old self these powerful networking lessons - the same ones that helped me build meaningful relationships, unlock career opportunities, and grow faster than I ever expected. Whether you’re an introvert, student, aspiring entrepreneur - this is for YOU. Follow @ananyamentors for more such career advice ❤️ 🔟 Be Curious, Not Just Polite Ask thoughtful questions. People remember how you made them feel heard, not just small talk. Be genuinely curious about others. 9️⃣ Don’t Just Collect Business Cards - Build Real Connections Quality beats quantity. One solid connection is worth more than 10 cold intros. 8️⃣ Your Online Presence Is Your First Impression Your LinkedIn is your digital handshake. Keep it sharp, active, and aligned with your goals. 7️⃣ Offer Value Before You Ask for Favors Networking isn’t about taking - it’s about exchanging. Share resources, amplify their work, or offer help with no expectations. 6️⃣ Say Yes to Events, Even If You’re Nervous The best connections often come from spontaneous interactions. Growth lives just outside your comfort zone. 5️⃣ Follow Up Like a Pro (But Don’t Be Pushy) Send a short, specific follow-up within 24–48 hours. Personalize it. Show appreciation. Most people don’t follow up - you’ll stand out if you do. 4️⃣ Be a Connector, Not Just a Climber Introduce people who should know each other. When you create value between others, you become valuable too. 3️⃣ Build Long-Term, Not Transactional Relationships Think 5-year relationships, not 5-minute favors. Consistency, kindness, and staying in touch build trust. 2️⃣ Network Across, Not Just Up Your peers today are tomorrow’s leaders. Don’t just chase CEOs - grow with the people beside you. 1️⃣ Play the Long Game - You Never Know Who Becomes Who That intern might be a future founder. That quiet person in the corner? Your next business partner. Treat everyone with respect. Follow @ananyamentors for more such advice. ✨️Be a Connector, Not Just a Collector: Networking isn't a numbers game. Focus on quality connections and fostering relationships. When you meet someone interesting, think about who else in your network they might benefit from knowing, and make thoughtful introductions. ✨️Follow Up better : A simple "it was nice meeting you" email is forgettable. Craft a personalized follow-up email within 24 hours. Reference something specific you discussed and offer a way to stay connected – share a relevant article, connect on LinkedIn, or suggest grabbing coffee to learn more about their work ✨️ Active Listening: Networking isn't a monologue about yourself. Ask insightful questions, truly listen to their responses, and find common ground. People remember those who make them feel heard and valued. ✨️Embrace the Power of Virtual Connections: In today's digital world, your network isn't limited to in-person events. Join online communities relevant to your field, participate in industry Twitter chats, or connect with professionals on LinkedIn. Virtual interactions can lead to real-world opportunities. ✨️Offer Help Before You Ask: People are more receptive to those who offer value first. Identify ways you can be a resource to someone in your network – proofread their resume, connect them with someone in your contacts, or offer feedback on a project. Genuine help builds trust and strengthens relationships. Share this video with your team Stop chasing friends & family. Here’s how real network marketers build a team 💥 If you’re just getting started in network marketing, listen up: ✅ You don’t need your old friends or family to say yes. ✅ The people who’ll change your life don’t even know you yet. I recruited over 120 people – and only 4 of them were from my old circle. The rest? Strangers I met through content, conversations, and consistency. Your real business starts when you stop waiting for support and go build it. Make new connections. Build trust with the right people. And remember — the old people come back when they see you win. But if you quit… they were right. And you’re not here to prove them right. You’re here to win. 🏆 👉 Follow @_alexpfeffer for the best network marketing tips on the internet 📤 Send this to someone who’s stuck waiting for their cousin to join.

After attending (and hosting) hundreds of events, I’ve found what works best 💡 Get comfortable by talking to the SHY People first They often have the most to offer, They just need some help opening up So here’s what to do: 1️⃣ Do a walkthrough of the venue, get comfortable by taking a seat 2️⃣ Identify all the shy people on their phones or people who look out of place 3️⃣ Approach and talk to the shy people, lift them up, and use our other lessons Do this with 4-5 people and watch how you will transform the room You will now be extremely confident, and you now have 5 other people referring people to talk to YOU I made a guide of the 22 lessons on communication, comment “LESSON” to get that document Share with a friend to put them up on game! 🙏🏼 Follow @itsleovalentino to become the best communicator you can be
