CHIn slow mo you can see that even in flight, the crow keeps looking at me. They’re so fast. I often slow down videos and notice little nuances in their behaviour which is hard to catch in “normal speed”.
Data shows that birds (including crows) tend to respond far more quickly than people. Their reaction times to sights or sounds are typically about 70–80 milliseconds, while humans usually take closer to 200–300 milliseconds to react.
Why do you think this crow continues to stare at me? Is it because I may be a threat? Or is it FOMO — what if I give a special treat to some other crow?
