RA1. The only way to get better at improvisation is to practice it regularly.
2. Every dancer learns differently and once you figure that out for yourself learning choreography won’t be as stressful.
3. Contemporary doesn’t have the same terminology structure as ballet so every class you take will be specific to that teacher and their terminology.
4. You grow the most when you’re uncomfortable. You can’t say you “can’t do contemporary” unless you’ve explored it for at least a full year consistently.
5. There is no greater joy than seeing the growth in your students. Whether that’s becoming comfortable with improv or picking up choreography faster or simply just engaging more in class.
