According to research from Stanford GSB (Prof. Jennifer Aaker), stories are up to 22x more memorable than facts alone. Why? Facts hit the logic center of the brain (which analyzes). Stories hit the emotional center of the brain (which decides). The Pain Point: You present a slide deck full of bullet points. The audience is bored. They forget you the moment you leave the room. The Solution: You must stop being a "Presenter" and start being a "Narrative Architect." You need to map your data to a Narrative Arc. The Shift: โŒ Don't say: "Sales are down 10%." โœ… Say: "We are facing a market resistance that threatens our Q4 goals (The Conflict), but the data shows a specific path to recovery (The Resolution)."
