The DATEDIF function is a hidden feature in Excel it won’t appear in suggestions, but it works perfectly! This formula calculates a person’s age automatically based on their date of birth. B2 → the cell containing the date of birth TODAY() → returns the current date "Y" → tells Excel to calculate the difference in years So Excel finds how many full years have passed between the date in B2 and today’s date giving you the person’s age instantly.
