Snickers Date Bark! 🍯🍫 Have you tried date bark yet? Just top a layer of medjool dates with peanut butter, roasted peanuts, and melted chocolate. It’s perfectly sweet, salty, and so addictive. It’s ridiculously easy to make & tastes like a healthier snickers bar! ‌ HOW TO MAKE IT 1) Place parchment paper on a cutting board. 2) Remove pits from fresh medjool dates. Place the dates onto the parchment paper, creating a rectangle. Top with a second piece of parchment paper. Use a rolling pin to press the dates together. 3) Use a knife to spread peanut butter (or any nut butter of your choice) over the dates. Sprinkle roasted peanuts on top. Pour melted chocolate on top of the peanuts. Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top. 4) Freeze the bark for 20 minutes. Remove from the freezer. Chop into bits and pieces. Details - 15 large medjool dates - 1/3 cup almond butter - 1 tsp vanilla - 2 tbsp coconut oil - 1 pinch of salt - Melted dark chocolate 1. Soak dates in hot water for 10 minutes 2. Add dates, almond butter, vanilla, coconut oil, and salt to a food processor. Process until combined. 3. Add mixture to a container and freeze until solid. 4. Cut into bite-size squares. You’ll need: 9 medjool dates, pitted creamy peanut butter dark chocolate chips flaky salt crushed peanuts 1. Place the pitted dates on top of a parchment lined baking sheet. 2. Flatten with the bottom of a glass (it helps to put parchment paper between the glass and the date so it doesn’t stick). 3. Top each flattened date with peanut butter, melted dark chocolate, flaky salt and crushed peanuts. 4. Start by placing pitted dates on parchment paper as shown on the video. 2. Add peanut butter on top. 3. For double crunch add peanuts on top. 4. Melt chocolate and pour on the peanut butter.Sprinkle sea salt on top 5.Place the baking dish in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours or until the chocolate has set. 9. Ingredients (for a 22×22 cm pan) • 20–25 large, soft Medjool dates
• 3 tbsp peanut butter (warm slightly so it becomes runny)
• A handful of nuts (pistachios, peanuts, or almonds)
• 250 g chocolate, melted using a double boiler (dark or dark + milk mix) Instructions 1. Wash the dates, slice them open, and remove the pits. 2. Press the dates flat into the base of the pan, forming an even layer. 3. Drizzle or spread the warm peanut butter evenly over the dates. 4. Sprinkle generously with your choice of nuts. 5. Pour the melted chocolate over the top and spread evenly. 6. Let cool slightly, then chill until set. 7. DB x INGREDIENTS ▪️12 large medjool dates ▪️75g pistachios ▪️75g cashew nuts ▪️50g mixed seeds ▪️1 tbsp butter ▪️1 tsp cinnamon (optional) ▪️200g dark chocolate METHOD ▪️Over medium heat, melt butter in a pan. Add remaining ingredients (apart from dark chocolate) and mix. ▪️Once dates soften, mash them to ensure all the ingredients are mixed together. ▪️Turn off heat and once cooled, transfer the date mixture to some baking paper/cling film, and roll into a log. ▪️You can refrigerate the log to make it easier to slice, but I didn’t. ▪️Melt your chocolate and cover each piece with chocolate. This step is optional. Refrigerate until set. #dates #healthyrecipes #recipe

Naturally sweetened with Dates and enriched with nutrients from nuts, these healthy date rolls make a great pre-workout snack for instant energy or to be served in the Ramdan Iftar Meal. Easy to make in less than 30 minutes, these healthy snacks also stays good for 2-3 months refrigerated in an airtight container. The Full Recipe Video link is in my Bio @theartisticcook under SWEETS ✨ INGREDIENTS 250g Mejdool Dates, 16 dates pitted & crushed 40g | 1/4 Cup Almonds 40g | 1/4 Cup Cashews 25g | 1/4 Cup Pistachios 10g | 1 1/2 Tablespoon White Sesame( or Poppy) seeds 1 Tablespoon Ghee 1/4 Teaspoon Cardamom powder METHOD 1. Wash the Dates and pat Dry completely. Deseed, chop and blend in a blender in few pulses till bit smooth, not paste or chunky though. 2. Dry Roast all the chopped Nuts in a pan. Dry roast the sesame seeds for 1-2 mins or till slightly Golden Brown. Set aside. 3. Add Ghee and cook the mashed dates till it gets soft on low heat. 4. Once it gets dough like, add the roasted nuts and a Tablespoon of the toasted sesame seeds. Add cardamom powder. Mix well, transfer to a butter paper. 5. Let it cool down a bit but not too much. Once slightly warm, roll into a log. Place few pistas & sesame seeds & roll it to stick to the outer surface. Wrap tightly with the parchment paper. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
