DCDC Police announced four Juvenile Curfew Zones for Fri. Mar. 20 through Sun. Mar. 22.
The zones are set for Navy Yard, Chinatown, U-Street Corridor, and the Wharf. The curfew zones will be in effect from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m., with the citywide curfew beginning at 11 p.m. through 6 a.m.

THA juvenile was taken into custody Saturday night after gunfire broke out during a large teen gathering in D.C.’s Navy Yard neighborhood, according to the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia.
Around 9:30 p.m., video posted to X showed dozens of teens fighting near Navy Yard at First and M Street SE while members of the District of Columbia National Guard stood nearby as the crowd filled the intersection.
About 15 minutes later, police said officers apprehended a juvenile after a firearm was discharged in the same area and recovered a gun at the scene. No injuries were reported.
The incident comes one week after the District implemented a temporary youth curfew in Navy Yard and along the U Street Corridor to address large gatherings involving minors.
Officials have not yet said whether the curfew was being enforced at the time of the incident.

DC Police and several partner agencies responded to disorderly activity involving a large group of juveniles last night in the Navy Yard neighborhood of Washington DC.
Police first observed a group of young people gathering around 6:30pm Saturday in a park area between First Street and New Jersey Avenue SE near an entrance to the Washington Metro’s Navy Yard–Ballpark station. By about 8:30 p.m., the crowd had grown to roughly 200 juveniles, police said.
Several incidents were reported over the following hours, including assaults and a firearm discharge. At about 9:12 p.m., multiple suspects assaulted a juvenile in the 1200 block of First Street SE and forcibly took the victim’s shoes and jacket. The suspects fled on foot, and the victim was not injured.
About 35 minutes later, a suspect fired a gun into the air in the park across from the metro station. Members of the District of Columbia National Guard witnessed the incident and stopped the suspect. Police recovered a firearm and arrested a 15-year-old boy from Southwest DC on charges including unlawful discharge of a firearm, endangerment with a firearm and carrying a pistol without a license. No injuries were reported.
At approximately 10 pm, several suspects assaulted two juvenile victims near New Jersey Avenue and M Street SE and stole personal belongings. The victims later went to a hospital with minor injuries.
Later in the evening, members of the United States Secret Service stopped a rideshare vehicle in the 900 block of New Jersey Avenue SE after observing a suspect matching a lookout description enter the car. The suspect attempted to discard a handgun during the stop. The gun was recovered, and a 16-year-old boy from Southeast DC was arrested and charged with carrying a pistol without a license.
