In un’epoca dominata dall’IA e dagli algoritmi, il primo capitolo del Decalogo di Kieślowski (una serie di mediometraggi ispirati ognuno a uno dei 10 comandamenti) si staglia come un monito sulla fragilità dell’uomo. Il regista polacco ci conduce nell’appartamento di un linguista e professore universitario, un uomo che ha eletto il computer a proprio oracolo, convinto che ogni variabile della vita possa essere domata dal calcolo. Ma è in questo dialogo tra la zia e il piccolo Paweł che il film sposta l’asse dal misurabile al non. Il discorso della donna non è una lezione di catechismo, ma una fenomenologia dell’affetto: Kieślowski spoglia la divinità dalle icone e la rintraccia nel calore di un abbraccio. Dio non è un’equazione risolta, ma l’esatto istante in cui riconosciamo l’altro. In questa epifania domestica, il regista ci suggerisce che il Sacro non abita nei cieli, ma nelle pieghe dei nostri legami più profondi.
