Understanding language begins with understanding its structure. 📖 Linguistics is not just about “learning English” it is about how language actually works. From sounds to meaning, each branch reveals a different layer: • Phonetics → how sounds are produced • Phonology → how sounds are patterned • Morphology → how words are formed • Syntax → how sentences are structured • Semantics → what words mean • Pragmatics → what we really mean in context Master these, and you don’t just learn a language you decode it. 📌 Save this for revision 📚 Perfect for UGC NET / CUET / English Literature students 🖤 Follow @theliteraturelane for more such concepts . . . Ever wondered why some words end in -tion while others use -sion? 🤔 The actual suffix here is -ion, but the way it’s spelled can change based on the letters at the end of the word before -ion is added. 📝✨ Learn how to help our students decide when to use -tion versus -sion, and how these endings are more than just suffixes—they’re also syllables! 🎥🔍 Understanding these patterns will make decoding and spelling those tricky words so much easier. 🧠 Update: I was reminder by one more that I didn’t include. Words with the base element <mit> (emit, permit, admit) all turn to <ss> when -ion is added (emission, permission, admission). I usually mention it but then focus more on it when I teach the base element/root <mit>. I just finished a new resource focusing on suffix -ion. There are four lessons with teaching slides, some student worksheets, and word cards for pocket chart activities. Comment “link” if you’re interested! This will also be added to my suffix bundle so if you own that make sure you download this update! #scienceofreading #morphologysnippet #structuredliteracy

Most people think language is just communication. It’s not. There’s more than meets the eye. Every word you speak carries energy. Meaning. Intention. And in the wrong hands, it carries control. The English language is full of spells. Not Harry Potter magic… but real magic. The kind that manipulates your perception, your choices, your reality. The kind that makes you agree to things without even knowing you’ve agreed. The ones at the top, the “Dark Magicians” have always known this. They’ve studied etymology, phonetics, symbology, and legalese for centuries. They know how to craft words that bypass your conscious mind and go straight to your subconscious. They hide meaning in plain sight. And we repeat it. Every. Single. Day. Mortgage means death pledge. Government means control mind. Understand literally means to stand beneath authority. Department means separation of the mind. Submission means to yield authority. Patient means one who suffers. Dis-ease means a lack of ease or harmony. This isn’t coincidence. This is conditioning. Because if you control the language… you control thought. And if you control thought… you control reality. Most people don’t see it because they were never taught to. That’s the trick. They keep you distracted, compliant, and too tired to question why your own words enslave you. When you learn the true meaning behind the words you use… You take back the spell. You break the contract. And you start speaking your own reality into existence. They’ve been playing a con game for centuries. It’s time you stopped playing by their rules. #reels #consciousness #wisdom #knowledge #truth #health #life #healing #reality
