Belirsizlik, kayıp ya da yoğun stres anlarında sinir sistemi “tehdit” algısına geçer. Bu durumda büyük çözümler üretmek, doğru kararlar almak ya da motive hissetmek mümkün değildir.
Tam da bu yüzden bazen ihtiyaç duyulan şey, “her şeyi çözmek” değil; harekette kalabilmektir. Psikolojide buna davranışsal devamlılık denir. Duygular düzenlenemediğinde, küçük ve sürdürülebilir davranışlar sinir sistemine güvenli bir mesaj verir:
✨ “Tamam, zor ama hâlâ buradayım.”
“Yüzmeye devam et” demek; acı yok say demek değildir. Olup biteni küçümsemek değildir. Güçlü olmayı zorlamak da değildir.
Bu cümle şunu söyler:
“Şu an büyük bir anlam çıkarmak zorunda değilsin. İleriye dair net hissetmek zorunda değilsin. Sadece durmamayı seçebilirsin.”
