THCome with me to Devonshire Mall in Windsor, Ontario. We got off to a GOOD start because a kind gentleman opened the door for us and I said oh… the Canadians are NICE nice. This was our second stop of the Canada trip so my hopes were high.
Now y’all know me. I’m walking through saying hi to everybody like I always do… and baby they were just staring 😭 since when is saying “hello, how are you?” crazy? I said oh okay maybe we not that friendly up here.
But let’s get into the mall. This place was BIG. Huge anchor stores. A mix of American staples and Canadian brands I had never even heard of. I felt cultured. One guy told me the only clothing store I noticed closed had been shut down for three months… but other than that? Everything was OPEN.
And I cannot even attempt to label this a dying mall. This place was POPPING. It might honestly be busier than some of the malls back home in America.
We even found Lush and Bath & Body Works so of course we had to see what the Canadian version was giving. You already know I had to compare. #canada #dyingmall #ontorio #american #international
